Rolla Elsaiary, Assistant Principal
Rolla Elsaiary is excited to continue her educational journey with the AIMS family! Having recently earned her Doctorate in Educational Practice and Innovation, with a focus on STEM and LCTL (Less Commonly Taught Languages) Education, from the University of South Carolina, she is well-versed in cutting-edge educational strategies. She also received her principal certification in 2023, as well as a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on STEAM from Concordia University. Elsaiary’s academic foundation began with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Alexandria University.
Before transitioning to education, Elsaiary spent over 13 years in mid-level management within the financial sector. Her passion for empowering young minds and serving as a role model led her to a fulfilling career in education, where she has served Houston-area students and families for the past eight years.
Ting-Hsuan Liu, Assistant Principal
Hello AIMS family,
Ms. Liu is honored to join the community as Assistant Principal this year. Her journey began in HISD at the Mandarin Immersion Magnet School (MIMS). Her experience in language immersion included teaching math, Mandarin and AP Chinese courses, which I found incredibly rewarding.
From there, Ms. Liu was privileged to serve as a Eureka math coach for two K-8 campuses in 2022, including AIMS. In 2023, she continued to follow her passion for education and language immersion by becoming Assistant Principal at Ed White Elementary.
Now, Ms. Liu is excited to bring that same passion and dedication to AIMS as the middle school Assistant Principal. She looks forward to collaborating with all of AIMS to create a supportive and enriching environment for the students.

Hussein Pacha, Magnet Coordinator
We are excited to share that Mr. Pacha will be in his second year as magnet coordinator. With eight years of experience as a teacher across various roles and subjects at AIMS, Mr. Pacha brings a wealth of knowledge to this position. He earned his undergraduate degree in the Science of Teaching and Learning from the University of Houston, graduating summa cum laude. He later completed his Master of Education in Administration and Supervision, also from the University of Houston.
Born and raised in the United States, Mr. Pacha comes from a Syrian family and is fluent in Arabic, including speaking, reading, and writing. As a culturally enriched Arab-American, he takes pride in blending the best aspects of both cultures in everyday life.
In his free time, Mr. Pacha loves spending time with family and friends, cheering for the Houston Rockets as a devoted fan, swimming, playing basketball, hiking, and exploring new activities.
His educational philosophy is: "If we touch the hearts of individuals, reaching their minds becomes much easier."
